The pentest went very well. The contact was very pleasant. We liked that individual projects with you get their own name (Luna in this case). The presentation of the results was very clear and provided all the information we needed to address the gaps ourselves or report them to vendors. The presentation to management was also nicely high-level, without requiring complex IT knowledge from management.
MindBytes carried out a pentest of our external and internal infrastructure. We are absolutely satisfied with the results. Critical findings were reported immediately so we could close them right away, and a retest was possible during the pentest. Ahead of the pentest of the internal infrastructure, there was an “alarm test”. Here, too, we gained important insights to improve our SIEM.
For me, it was good to see once again that things can be quick and uncomplicated. Only a few days passed from the offer to filling out the self-disclosure and the final commissioning—two to be exact. Contact was always maintained and you always had an open ear. The tests showed that there is always something to do in the area of IT security, as the approaches of attackers—in this case, you—can be quite creative. We have already done a lot of homework from past tests, but new systems are added, and new attack vectors emerge. Thanks for pointing them out and for the exciting two weeks!

Basically, I’ve always had the urge to have a pentest done. However, I was never really comfortable with it because I always imagined some kind of freaks rummaging around in our system.
